This is very much a belated update. Sorry for neglecting the site.

1. Release Date for “Bandage” set
The movie that Jin’s been promoting for a very long time now, “Bandage”, will be shown in theatres in Japan from 16 January 2010.

2. Jin’s Collaboration with Crystal Kay
In the BtR tour, Jin’s solo was a collaboration with Crystal Kay, titled “Wonder”. It’s not his only collaboration with her though, as it turns out. In her upcoming album release on 2nd September, “Best of Crystal Kay”, a new collaboration is included, titled “Helpess Night”. I think it’s only in the first press limited edition.

3. End of BtR Tour, Photobook soon in stores!
Today is the last day of the Break the Records Summer Tour. The guys are in Hokkaido if you didn’t know. About a week later, Live Document Photobook “Break the Records” will be out in stores. It features backstage photos and stuff like that.

BtR Summer Tour, Kochikame

Sorry for the lack of updates! Been really busy.

Taguchi special guest star
Taguchi will guest star in episode 3 of the TBS drama, Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo (こちら葛飾区亀有公園前派出所), which stars SMAP’s Katori Shingo. The series itself begins airing on 1st August, while the specific episode will be on air on 15th August. Taguchi mentioned during concert MC that he’s some samurai spirit… I don’t exactly know lol. Watch it to find out! XD

New solos for Kame and Ueda in BtR Summer Tour
Kame’s solo is now a self-penned slow number. Towards the end of the Okinawa leg of the tour, I think in the last show, Ueda also changed his solo to one of the songs from his previous Mouse Peace solo tour.

Next up is the Miyagi/Sendai leg, from 31st July to 2nd August!

2. Dream Boys 2009
Previously mentioned here, Kame will be acting in Dream Boys in September (Tokyo) and October (Osaka) together with Shibutani Subaru from Kanjani 8 and Tegoshi Yuya from NEWS.

Today, the first day’s concert of the 2009 Dome tour was completed!

Today, they also announced that there’ll be a Live Document Photobook, “Break the Records”. 208 pages, B4 size, 2100 yen. Released in August 2009. Think it’s focused on the 10 days at Tokyo Dome. *didn’t see anything about Osaka*

**edit 28 July: the photobook will be released on 31st August 2009!

Live footage from 18/5 concert?

So apparently, サプライズ (Surprise on 日本テレビ NTV) may be showing live footage from the 18 May concert, from 19:00~19:58. Either that or it’s just random KAT-TUN promo thing. I dunno.

[edit: 14 may] Confirmed!: And rumour for now: Kame guest starring in episode 3 of “Mr. Brain” (ie: Kimura Takuya’s drama, which also has Mizushima Hiro). Supposedly, he’s a doctor / was in a white coat according to fan reports. [edit: 14 may] News reports say he’s a young physician in a university hospital. The third episode will be shown on 6 June.

KAT-TUN have added shows to their 2009 Dome Tour!

It won’t be 7 straight days in Tokyo Dome anymore… It’ll be 8 days! They’ve added a show on the 22nd May.

A few days later, they’ll be heading over to Osaka to have concerts at Kyocera Dome (京セラドーム) on 3 days, from 29th to 31st May.

Then after that, it’s back to Tokyo Dome for another 2 more days on 14th and 15th June.

To summarise, it’s 10 days in Tokyo Dome, and 3 in Kyocera Dome!

7 Days in Tokyo Dome

Last year, they set a record of having 4 days of Tokyo Dome concerts. Now, they’re breaking their own record and having SEVEN DAYS, from 15 May to 21 May 2009. They’re also planning for a different stage based on a planet for each day.

It also seems like Johnny-san said something about wanting to beat Obama’s record of attracting 2million people to his inaugaration ceremony? XD 「勝ったかな。オバマさん(就任式で200万人動員)にも勝ちたいね」

There’s nothing yet about concerts in other cities, so not sure if it’s only going to be a Dome tour this year or what. =( But since their concerts are usually linked to their albums, does that mean there’s going to be one soon, and it’s named after some planet thing? XP

PS: The covers for “One Drop” single are up @ J-One Records website!
