Before anyone goes berserk over the subject, I just want to say that I’m not 100% sure but even if it’s true, it’ll probably be very temporary, like less than 24 hours.

Basically, I’m guessing that there’s a possibility that Kame might pop by during 24 Hour Terebi this year, in which NEWS are the personalities. After all, back in 2006 when KAT-TUN were in charge, Yamapi did pop by and they did “Seishun Amigo” as well I think, if my memory serves me right.

On the main 24 hour Terebi website (www.ntv.co.jp/24h), I actually haven’t seen it being written anywhere. However, on NTV’s schedule (www.ntv.co.jp/count/program.html), if you click on 30/8 and you go to the details page of 24 Hour TV Part 7, you’ll see this:

Vague, no? But see, a couple of days after 24 Hour Terebi is over, there’ll be “Dream Boys” (again) in which Kame’s the lead (again) and Tegoshi is also starring in it. So it wouldn’t surprise me if Kame drops by to promote the musical, and then NTV milks the whole Shuji to Akira / Seishun Amigo thing all over again. XD

Guess we’ll only know on 30th August.

Taguchi special guest star
Taguchi will guest star in episode 3 of the TBS drama, Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo (こちら葛飾区亀有公園前派出所), which stars SMAP’s Katori Shingo. The series itself begins airing on 1st August, while the specific episode will be on air on 15th August. Taguchi mentioned during concert MC that he’s some samurai spirit… I don’t exactly know lol. Watch it to find out! XD

New solos for Kame and Ueda in BtR Summer Tour
Kame’s solo is now a self-penned slow number. Towards the end of the Okinawa leg of the tour, I think in the last show, Ueda also changed his solo to one of the songs from his previous Mouse Peace solo tour.

Next up is the Miyagi/Sendai leg, from 31st July to 2nd August!

Belated post but…

1. Summer Tour 2009
It’ll be held in July and August, in smaller arenas, and not in Tokyo and Osaka since those places already had Dome concerts. See here for list of dates & venues.

2. Dream Boys 2009
Previously mentioned here, Kame will be acting in Dream Boys in September (Tokyo) and October (Osaka) together with Shibutani Subaru from Kanjani 8 and Tegoshi Yuya from NEWS.

So apparently, サプライズ (Surprise on 日本テレビ NTV) may be showing live footage from the 18 May concert, from 19:00～19:58. Either that or it’s just random KAT-TUN promo thing. I dunno.

[edit: 14 may] Confirmed!: And rumour for now: Kame guest starring in episode 3 of “Mr. Brain” (ie: Kimura Takuya’s drama, which also has Mizushima Hiro). Supposedly, he’s a doctor / was in a white coat according to fan reports. [edit: 14 may] News reports say he’s a young physician in a university hospital. The third episode will be shown on 6 June.

So, I forgot to post about this… or rather, was waiting for official news to pop up, although it was already pretty obvious from all the fan reports. If you don’t already know…

Kame’s in 「ごくせん THE MOVIE」 which will be shown in theatres in Japan from 11 July 2009.

He will of course reprise his role as Odagiri Ryu, who I think will be a 教育実習生 at that new school. No, there is nothing about a Yabuki Hayato returning in the movie. Maybe it’s because a certain someone ain’t supposed to have a movie debut until 2010 with a certain movie.

The album is titled “Break the Records -by you & for you-” and J-One Records has listed out the full tracklist!

The album version of “White X’mas” has a rap written by Koki. @_@;; I wonder what the song will sound like. For the solos, only Kame & Yuichi didn’t write their own songs. Ueda, Koki & Junno actually wrote both the lyrics and music to theirs, which isn’t surprising for Ueda and Koki, but surprising for Junno I must say.

But the main point is: Do you see track 7? Finally, we’ll get Jin’s “Care” in CD QUALITY! *_* Of course it also means he was lazy and didn’t write any new songs. XD *gets kicked*

“One Drop” is officially released tomorrow! Go get it! Particularly the limited edition that includes the PV and the “making of” footage!

One Drop = Theme song for Kami no Shizuku = Release of Kami no Shizuku photobook on 5th March. It’s a 128-page photobook, B5-size. Expect pics of Kame, Kame and Kame… and occasionally his co-stars I guess. XP
